Rehabilitation of Kipp Road Lift Station

Quality. The positive impact this project had on the community was two-fold. Replacing the existing, failing lift station improved odor control in the area and added a back-up generator that allows the lift station to remain operational during times of emergency.

LJA provided engineering design services for site work, structural, mechanical, electrical, and control components of the lift station, fencing, pavement, gravity sanitary sewers, force main, manholes, and all appurtenances delivering a complete and operational lift station to the client. The LJA project team also provided bidding and construction phase services. We worked diligently though issues encountered in the field with all stakeholders, including the county and neighboring residents, to be sure everyone involved was well-informed about both the issues and the resulting resolution.
