King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) District 2

Quality. As District Engineer for District 2 in King Abdullah Economic City, a residential and mixed-use district with an area of over 12,000 acres, LJA provides engineering review, design, and oversight for millions of dollars worth of projects annually. The collaborative relationship between LJA and KAEC has helped build this region with an eye toward sustainable and green design.

As District Engineer for King Abdullah Economic City, LJA has provided detailed engineering design services for over eight years for major citywide infrastructure including road corridors, regional and local sanitary pump and lift stations, water and wastewater facilities, electrical facilities and power distribution, citywide utilities master planning, and traffic and transportation studies. Underground utilities such as water, irrigation and sanitary sewer networks, stormwater drainage, and telecommunications are also included in the comprehensive scope of work. We also provide peer review for projects designed by other engineering teams in other districts and in the overall KAEC.
