West Hardin County Consolidated ISD Wastewater Treatment Facility

Quality. LJA drew on the extensive experience of the environmental team to develop the permit amendment which allowed a much-needed replacement wastewater treatment facility with an increased daily flow to accommodate a growing populace.

West Hardin County Consolidated Independent School District operates a domestic wastewater treatment facility that services the school district and surrounding homes. Over time, the District outgrew the small mechanical treatment facility and required an upgrade to a larger, more efficient facility. LJA was hired to develop and submit a major permit amendment to the TCEQ for this wastewater treatment facility. The amendment allowed the District to install a new facility and increase their permitted daily average flow from 8,000 gallons per day to 15,000 gallons per day.
