LJA Engineering Acquires Ramos Consulting, LLC for Expanded Program Management Services

LJA Engineering, Inc. (LJA), has acquired Ramos Consulting, LLC (RCLLC), a Texas-based engineering firm with specialized Transportation, Program Management, and Tollway expertise. With 20 personnel, they have a wide range of experience providing services for reconstruction and new construction of highways, toll roads, and local arterials in project management, consultant oversight, agency coordination, preliminary engineering, and final design.

“RCLLC will significantly contribute to LJA’s strong Transportation Sector and expand our geographical reach within Texas and beyond,” says Jeff Collins, Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Board.

Jerry Ramos, PE, who will continue as President, started RCLLC in February 2012 to build a practice that would focus on providing its clients with the best services as a trusted advisor. Jerry has over 30 years of experience managing and procuring complex projects in Texas for TxDOT, FBGPTRA, FBCTRA, HCTRA, and local government entities. Over the past 19 years, Jerry has managed over $18 billion in GEC, Procurement, PMCM, and Public-Private Partnership (P3) Projects.

“Jerry and his staff at RCLLC are known for their successful management of large engineering programs, and LJA intends to use his expertise to offer these services to LJA’s large base of clients,” says James Ross, President and CEO of LJA Engineering.

RCLLC will provide three additional office locations for LJA Engineering in Texas and Georgia.
