Our Goal
LJA served as the Right of Way Project Manager for the widening of SR 211, a major transportation improvement project spanning approximately 2.5 miles across Hall, Gwinnett, and Barrow counties in Georgia. The project includes expanding the roadway to four lanes with a raised median, constructing a 10-foot multi-use path, and installing two multi-lane roundabouts to improve safety, mobility, and traffic operations.
LJA coordinated all right-of-way activities for 110 parcels while navigating complex commercial and residential impacts, utility relocations, evolving design requirements, and active development throughout the rapidly growing Braselton corridor.

110 Parcels Acquired Across Three Counties
We successfully managed this complex right-of-way project, coordinating acquisitions, utility relocations, and stakeholder engagement across a heavily developed corridor while maintaining the project schedule.
State Route 211
Through proactive planning, frequent stakeholder coordination, and a highly experienced right-of-way team, LJA helped keep the SR 211 widening project on track despite significant acquisition and development challenges. Early collaboration with GDOT, utility providers, and the Town of Braselton streamlined right-of-way and utility coordination, minimizing delays and mitigating project risks.
The successful delivery of Phase I and II supports supports future growth in the region while enhancing roadway safety, reducing congestion, and improving connectivity for everyone.
