For years, Ramos Consulting, LLC, was a trusted partner that operated as a subsidiary after its 2021 acquisition. This relationship recently evolved into a full integration, solidifying LJA’s position as a dominant, single-branded “owner representative” firm across the nation, making this truly a

What Ramos Consulting LLC Gained: The Power of Scale

For the specialized owner representative services team, the acquisition meant immediate, transformative growth that would have been impossible to achieve independently. Since joining forces with LJA, the former Ramos Consulting team has achieved remarkable metrics, growing its staff by
3.2x and dramatically increasing its annual revenue by 8.4x within the
past 5 years. 

This exponential growth was fueled by two things: the LJA reputation and infrastructure. By associating their proven expertise with a national brand, the Ramos Consulting team immediately gained the credibility and operational resources needed to pursue projects they previously couldn’t access. The result is a larger platform, more resources, and more complex, high-value projects.

  • Dominance in Owner Representative Services – The former Ramos team brought a specialized knowledge in acting as the “owner” representative, a niche service critical for major public agencies and private developers. This is a high-demand skill set, and LJA is now considered a dominant firm in this sector. 
  • Top Talent Attraction – We strategically expanded the Program and Project Management group by attracting multiple industry leaders, which immediately elevated our service capabilities to new national heights. A few of these industry leaders are Vice Presidents Darby Swank and Alanna Bettis.

Darby Swank, whose hire immediately gave LJA a new presence in Oklahoma and Pennsylvania for specialized toll services. Under Darby’s leadership, we have established LJA as a strong toll firm and have grown the group from three
to almost 40 with the acquisition of Fagan Consulting, LLC.

We also gained Alanna Bettis who has over 20 years of experience in the Transportation industry. She currently oversees our Asset Management group and successfully grew the group from zero to over $25M in backlog in two years.

After years of partnership and success as a subsidiary, the full integration signifies a unified future.
