VanderLey, a respected figure with deep roots in Orange County, brings a wealth of experience spanning business ownership, business development, and public service.
VanderLey’s career highlights include owning a successful construction company and founding The Continuum Collaborative, a business development and advocacy firm. Her extensive public service includes two terms on the Orange County Planning and Zoning Board and a term as Orange County Commissioner for District 1, one of Florida’s fastest-growing regions. During her commission tenure, she was instrumental in guiding development, particularly within the 18,000-acre Horizon West master-planned community, ensuring vital infrastructure kept pace with rapid growth.

A recipient of numerous accolades, including the 2018 Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association Public Servant of the Year and the 2020 Friends of Lake Apopka Jim Thomas Environmental Hero Award, VanderLey is highly regarded for her contributions to the community.
