Houston, Texas – LJA Engineering, Inc. (LJA), a nationally recognized, employee-owned engineering and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Concept Development & Planning, LLC (CD&P), an Austin-based community engagement and strategic communications firm, has joined LJA. The two firms have partnered since 2016, and this acquisition represents a natural next step in their nearly 20-years of working together and serving clients in common markets.
Established in 2007, CD&P is known for delivering full-service community engagement and strategic communications solutions for public and private sector clients. By joining LJA, CD&P now has direct access to a national network of subject-matter experts across transportation, public works, land development, environmental, and other technical disciplines. This expanded integration allows both firms to deliver broader insight into projects, and a deeper bench of technical expertise.
The CD&P team will serve as LJA’s community engagement experts, leading and supporting these efforts across the company.
