With over 23 years’ experience, Melony has been integrally involved in the analysis, design, and construction of water distribution, wastewater collection, drainage, and paving facilities for projects throughout the region. From preparation of feasibility studies and engineering estimates of probable cost, to construction plans and contract documents she is adept at meeting the challenges posed by critical public infrastructure projects. She has also deftly coordinated work with municipal utility districts and levee improvement districts, as well as various cities and counties. Melony enjoys serving as a mentor and training new engineers, imparting her many years of experience and lessons learned. She has served her community as past director of the Cinco Ranch MUD #7, concentrating on improvements to area parks and recreational facilities. She is currently secretary for the North Bend Water Authority, providing guidance on long term plans for surface water conversion and conservation, a position she has held for over a decade.
