James E. Brown, PE

James has provided engineering leadership for over 23 years on major land development projects, large master planned communities, and subdivisions in the Houston area and beyond. Responsibilities have included the design of water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage facilities, as well as paving, detention pond, drainage channel, and trunk utility facilities for residential and commercial projects. Additionally, he serves as District Engineer for five municipal utility districts working closely with regulatory and governmental agencies. James is also the head of LJA’s Katy office where he instills employee loyalty by supporting his group and building long-term relationships with his team.
