Bob leads the Hydrology & Hydraulics (H&H) division in the Houston office for our Land Development sector. In addition to serving as a mentor to and training junior staff, he is responsible for providing key insight and quality assurance on projects. He actively passes on his expertise, “I love witnessing the professional growth and development firsthand as I train and mentor our young H&H engineers.” A specialist in H&H analysis with over 14 years of experience, Bob has imparted expertise on drainage studies for master planned communities, flood insurance studies for FEMA, flood reduction analyses, stormwater detention design, and open channel drainage design. He is proficient in the use of H&H software applications including XP-SWMM, HEC-1, HEC-2, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS Steady and Un-steady, adICPR, and statistical analysis. His experience includes NFIP policies in 44 CFR, TCEQ Guidelines, local floodplain ordinances, implementation of NPDES Phase II regulations, and numerous local drainage criteria.
