INGREDIENTS
- LJA’s Neon Smokehouse BBQ Rub
- 1 – 7lbs Whole Pork Shoulder
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Cup Apple Juice
- 1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Dust the seasoning blend over the entire pork shoulder. Cover with plastic wrap & let sit for 12-24 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the oven to 225 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Mix together – Water, Apple Juice & Apple Cider Vinegar. Pour this mixture into the bottom of a roasting pan with the pork shoulder.
- Roast uncovered for approximately 1hr & 45 minutes per pound.
- Once taken out of the oven, tent the entire pan loosely with aluminum foil & let it rest for 30-45 minutes.
- Start pulling the meat apart, toss in your favorite sauce & serve!
