Michael has over 16 years of experience in transportation consulting and civil engineering design that includes schematic design and PS&E ranging from small rural safety widening projects, to complicated multi-level urban interchanges and toll facilities. Clients include TxDOT, North Texas Tollway Authority, California Department of Transportation, and local municipalities. Executing numerous project delivery methods, he has experience on fast-paced, design-build jobs, comprehensive development agreements, sequence construction, and traditional design-bid-build projects with construction costs exceeding one billion dollars. He is very skilled at interfacing with clients and in managing the large project teams associated with such complex projects. Michael developed a simultaneous career path in the U.S. Army Reserves, which included deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and roles spanning construction execution, command of a USAR construction company, and a civil engineer position within a brigade. Michael is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Society of American Military Engineers, and Reserve Officers Association, DFW Chapter.
