Karina manages Business Development pursuits within LJA’s Land Development sector. Twenty years of experience gives her an understanding of the industry and the policy that drives development in the Houston area. Her previous experience at the city of Houston in public service has cultivated strong relationships and opportunities for LJA’s continued successes. She is active in helping other women succeed in the industry and also enjoys helping the community by chairing such events as Sociedead Mutualista Obrera Mexicana (SMOM), and the Galveston County Seniors Citizens Assistance, Inc. (GCSCA). She has experience in public policy, government relations, public involvement, community engagement, marketing, and communications. She is a Programs Committee Member for the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), committee member of the West Houston Association (WHA), Transportation Advocacy Group (TAG), North Houston Association (NHA), Brazoria County’s Economic Development Alliance, and a proud alumnus of Leadership Houston Class XXVII.
