As Chief Financial Officer for LJA, John relies on experience amassed over 30 years in accounting leadership positions, including a diversified background in corporate administration, human resources, and information technology. Past responsibilities include implementing processes and procedures for preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS, tax planning, banking, risk management, contract negotiations, and financing activities. He has managed coordination of audits, established infrastructure in preparation for public offerings/acquisitions, and actively led multiple acquisitions and mergers. John’s experience includes benefit plan negotiations and implementation, company compliance of ERISA and Department of Labor requirements, union negotiations, and developing and implementing an Information Technology Plan. Professionally, John is active in the Texas Society of CPA’s, ACEC, and the American Institute of CPA’s. On a personal level, John supports the American Red Cross, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Katy ISD Livestock Show and Rodeo, and is an active member in his church.
