The master planned community of Bridgeland led the Houston area market with 734 home closings in 2019 and continues with a strong pace in 2020. Located in northwest Harris County, Bridgeland covers 11,400 acres in the Cypress area along Cypress Creek south of US 290. With a mixture of single-family, retail, and commercial land use and an immaculate park and trail master plan woven in, the master planned development is approximately 30 percent developed.
LJA has performed land planning services for Bridgeland Development, LP since 2011 including refining the overall master plan for Bridgeland, neighborhood design of Parkland Village with over 3150 lots, parks and trails master plan, and the design of two parks. Planning work continues with the next two villages, Prairieland (9,150 units) and Creekland (3,500 units). The initial neighborhoods are scheduled for 2021.
LJA’s Land Development sector has begun engineering design services for Bridgeland’s Creekland Village, consisting of 2,095 acres in the northwestern area of Bridgeland. The land is north of Cypress Creek and west of the Grand Parkway. Design is underway on the first four residential sections totaling 309 lots, major thoroughfare access along Jack Road, and sanitary sewer lift station.
